BAPE x New Balance 57/40 ‘Black/Grey’ #new balance and bape collab

It’s been almost a year since BAPE, cult Japanese fashion brand, and New Balance released a 2002R collab. The duo partner up again on the 57/40 silhouette. Meet the BAPE x New Balance 57/40 Black Grey. For this edition of the NB 57/40, BAPE uses its signature camo design on the New Balance “N” logo. The shoe has grey and black suede overlays while the base is made with a silver fabric topped with grey mesh. Silver accents also appear on the eyestay and the lining alongside the New Balance “N” logo. The lateral heel panel is embossed with a silver BAPE head on the right shoe and “A BATHING APE” text on the left shoe. Shark teeth are printed around the ankle collar, a design detail also found on the 2002R.
